YOUR DAY, AT A GLANCE

A little planning. A great day out.

◷ 4–6 hours✈ Check current airspace↗ Ground transportation required

May–October tours daily; November 1–December 13 Friday–Sunday 10 am–4 pm; April Friday–Sunday. Reserve a specific tour. Café and General Store schedules must also match.

Regular Taliesin tours are seasonal, with reduced November–December and April days; private tours are by advance arrangement. Fit the day around the booked tour, not an assumed walk-in.

Suggested time on the ground includes a planning allowance for transfers. Driving times, bookings and availability are not live. Use current aviation sources for your flight.

  1. Arrive & meet your ride

Coordinate transient parking and car arrangements with KLNR. FBO weekday staffing is listed 8 am–5 pm; confirm weekend or after-hours access.

  2. Tour Taliesin

Book one tour and meet at the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center at the operator’s required arrival time.

  3. Lunch with a river-valley view

Choose Riverview Terrace when serving, or the General Store before its 2 pm kitchen closing.

  4. Browse town, then fly home

Optional shops and galleries make a flexible final stop; leave enough time for the reserved ride back to KLNR.

MAKE THE MOST OF THE STOP

Two things worth seeing

STOP 1

Taliesin Preservation tour

Reserve one Frank Lloyd Wright architecture tour departing from the visitor center; exact duration and access depend on the selected product.

Allow: 90–120 minutes, depending on booked tour; editorial suggestion

Hours: May 1–October 31 daily 9 am–5 pm; November 1–December 13 Friday–Sunday 10 am–4 pm; April Friday–Sunday 10 am–4 pm. Private tours by arrangement.

STOP 2 · OPTIONAL

Spring Green shops and galleries

Choose a small town-center browse from the chamber’s local shop and gallery directory, rather than a second large attraction that would overfill the day.

Allow: 30–60 minutes; editorial suggestion

Hours: Independent business hours vary; choose open stops for the booked date.

A TABLE IN TOWN

Choose your lunch stop

Choose a restaurant that fits your route and opening times. Town stops need ground transport; airport dining can fit before or after your outing. Each choice has its own reviews and restaurant check-in.
